parachute prayers is the acoustic duo of Cam Gripp and Jason Haist. After the birth of PP in February 2006, PP has made a
few appearances in the Hamilton scene, including many appearances at Redeemer University and St. Thomas Moore highschool.

After the frustrations of failed bands and stagnant musical careers, both Jay and Cam decided it was time to get back to roots,
and start things off different. Rather than trying to mold into what's popular in the scene, they took an acoustic tangent
and started the duo Parachute Prayers. With sweet and chaotic tones being dispelled form their acoustics, and heartfelt, emotion
filled lyrics about life experiences, their music can be described as raw emotional acoustic folk/rock, or frankly as whatever
you want to describe it as.
